n8n or Make.com?
Make.com is quick to start with and fully hosted; n8n can be self-hosted, which gives you more control over data and costs as volume grows. I recommend one based on your tools, data sensitivity and budget — the full comparison is in the guide below.
Working across time zones
I work from Pakistan on Pakistan Standard Time (UTC+5). That is 1–2 hours ahead of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, 3–5 hours ahead of the UK and most of Europe, and 9–10 hours ahead of US Eastern time — so Gulf, UK and European teams share most of the working day, and US teams can meet at the start of their morning.

Can an automation include AI?
Yes. Several of my workflows use the OpenAI API — for example turning blog posts into social media posts and drafting replies to business emails — with the rest of the process handled by n8n or Make.com.
