Overview

Every inbound message to the client's Twilio number is parsed and routed based on keyword: BUY returns the current purchase link (or a sold-out or no-deal response), INVITE sends a shareable invitation, HELP lists available commands, STOP unsubscribes the sender, and START resubscribes them and immediately sends the current deal. An instant TwiML acknowledgment and a self-loop filter keep the flow fast and safe from processing its own outbound messages.

What I built

  • Six-way command routing (BUY, INVITE, HELP, STOP, START, and an unknown-keyword fallback) with case-insensitive matching
  • Conditional BUY sub-flows depending on whether a deal is available, sold out, or inactive
  • Atomic STOP/START subscription-status updates with confirmation SMS sent back to the subscriber
  • Instant TwiML acknowledgment and self-loop prevention to keep the flow fast and safe

Role

Automation Design — Built the multi-branch command router, conditional BUY sub-flows based on deal availability, and subscription-status management against the subscriber sheet.
